file How on earth will I get my boy to drink water?

The breastmilk will be just fine to help with any constipation and he doesn't really need water, he's still little, but you could just continue offering it, perhaps once you start solids offer a bit in a cup after the meal. Don't use a bottle as he will associate that with milk. Try a sippy cup, or an normal plastic cup. My daughter drank MUCH better out of a normal cup from about 7 months and then a sippy cup from 8 months which we only use out and about.

I was worried about my 3 month old baby as I felt that he also needed water but my doctor assured me that he doesn't need it as long as he drinks milk

I would suggest to keep offering, if they are thirsty they will HAVE to drink, or you can just "colour" the water with a little juice and offer that as well

Keep the water around in a bottle and as earlier Moomies said keep offering it.
Do not offer an alternate.

As the alternate will always be consumed, while the water will be tossed aside.

Leave the water bottle around all the time, so it is in easy reach, and the only time it is not there is when the formula is on hand.

As Julz said, a thirsty child is going to drink .... eventually. Part of it is who gives in first.

Just don't pack juice in your bag if you go out, or anywhere, have a formula bottle and water bottle and that is the only choices available.

Breast is still my childs only water (1.4 years) THe pead recently said not to force him, just keep offering it, as he weans he will start to drink more. He however loves juice, so sometimes I'll put a little bit of apple juice in his water. I'm also hoping it will improve, because i'm wanting to get the weaning going in a big way.
I have no advise though, but if youre worried all I can say is he's fine, me not so much..

I only offered him water besides his milk. He soon accepted it. Now that he is older we offer Juice when out as a treat, but there are times when he demands juice and we just say there is only water. If they are thirsty they will drink water.

My little boy is 6.5 months (and just cut his first tooth - may I say ;) ). He is such a good eater, but he is so fussy when it comes to his drinks. He only drinks breastmilk or S26 gold ;). He refuses all other formulas and whatever liquids I offer him...

I have tried (what it seems) all the tricks to get him to drink tea, water - I even tried baby juice. I tried his non-milk feeds in a sippy cup and a bottle - He just bluntly refuses. His lack of other fluids leaves him constipated, and I feel that it is not good for his health at this stage to only drink milk.

Any advice please???
