At 8m my son was on 3 bf a day, 3 solid meals and 2 snacks a day so no I don't think your son is eating too much :) maybe shift dinner 15min earlier? Or try a last milk bottle 15-20min before bed?

Thanx Mandz its scary how you cant remember what you did with the other kids but then all babies are different. ;) We've tried squeezing in another bottle during the day but he really prefers his solids and does not drink it.

Nope that sounds about right. They are supposed to have around four bottles a day still I think. Strange how he only has one during the day, can you not try squeeze them in during the day and keep maybe one night feed? They should still be getting all they need from milk and not necessarily from food.

Mathew is now 8 months old and although I am not a new mon (twins boys 6years) things are very different with him. He is on 3 solid meals a day and at least one bottle formula milk (150mls) during the day. He is in a routine where dinner is at 5pm (solids), with bath time and sleep around 6-7pm. He does not always get a bottle when he goes to bed cause he usually is so tired ... he then wakes around 12h30pm for a full bottle and again around 4am. IS this normal at this age - previously he would not have the 12pm bottle and would wake around 3am?? He is teething now so could this have anything to do with this or is it a growth spurt?
