I bought the manual harmony from Medela because i thought that 6 months after being exclusively bbreasfed, Malia would take the bottle with formula and I was so wrong. Now that I have to return to work fulltime, I think, an electric pump will be better for everyday use and pumping at work. Am trying to find the cheapest but most reliable electric pump

I love my Medela Swing Electrical pump! Used the mini electric before which worked just as great, only, once I returned to work it was a bit too noisy for our small office

Therefore the swing was ideal!

I have the Avent, both the manual and electric. I found that I got more milk out with the manual in a shorter time. If I was sitting relaxed and watching tv, I used the electric, but at work the manual was better for quick expressing.

I've used the Medela Mini Electric. The NUK standard bottles (not the wide neck) fit on the breastpump - and they are much bigger than the Medela bottles - so that helped me a lot at work where I often expressed more than 200ml at a time.

However, if I have a second baby, I'm going to get the Mini Electric Plus - the double pump - as I will be able to express in 10 minutes instead of 20 minutes - saving time at work!

I found the manual worked better. I used the Pigeon manual pump and the Tommee Tippee electric. I think the problem I had is that my bo.obs are too big, and the cup didn't fit on nice and snug so I kept having to reattach. Thats prob why the pigeon worked better for me.
