Most of the so-called baby cereals are loaded with sugar - except for the organic ones which is why they taste bleh and the LOs don't like them lol. Lilly was never much of a cereal fan, so she gets 'adult' breakfast stuff similar to 1st Timer's James. Works very well for us.

How much formula does he get, Juno? Milk has a big impact on their appetite, so maybe try cutting down on the formula a bit?

As for the fussiness: I hear it's a common toddler thing - I'm already holding my breath in anticipation for our turn ;) The joys...

Hello.
My 14months old LG gets:

1. Maltabella porridge (sometimes mixed with Purity cereal cos I had bought them in bulk LOL)
2. Toast with Liver spread
3. Pancakes with steamed/raw fruit
4. Oats with fruit
5. Smoothies - homemade with lots of fruits and her milk/juice.

I found my fussy 3year old niece loves the smoothies also ;)

Hi

My little one are 15 months old and ate Nestum until a year. After that she ate Pronutro Toddler and some days Oats or Weatbix. Recently I've started giving her NutriBoost, which she really enjoys a lot. Its more nutritional than Pronutro or any other cereals. On weekends I will make her something special, such as french toast, scramble eggs, etc.

Hi Juno

Luke is 16 months old and for breakfast he eats any of the following:

Toddler Pronutro
Cerelac Cereal
WeetBix
Jungle Oats

In all honesty - he is NOT a fussy eater at all.

Emily (13.5 months old) eats cereal for bkfst everyday  I am still giving her the "baby" cereal though so I am hoping that there isn't any sugar in??? She eats Nestle Cerelac, Purity Nutraflake or Pronutro Toddler (only started giving this one last week). She then gets a yoghurt after her cereal and fruit at about 10Am - the yoghurt I just give her the tub with a spoon while she sits in her high chair, some ends up on the floor and some in her mouth. I hve a house dog though, so clean-up is easy - doggy eats the excess from the floor and then i just run the mop over to get rid of the stickiness. On weekends I giver her eggs or toast, but that is usually after her cereal.
My nephew (21 months) is a fussy eater and also gets most of his calories from his formula though. He does like to eat Nestle Cerelac Gold for some reason though???
