Age appropiate food

I would suggest reading the post Marijke posted about BLW, its worth it. I wish I saw this when I started Kyle on solids, would of been so much help. It has helped me introducing other foods to Kyle.

Wendy, if you read the BLW thread, my LG started solids (as in 'finger food') at the age of 5.5 months, I skipped the whole puree foods thing. Check out the post about the gag reflex

Hi Ladies

My LG is 8 months old. What is the appropiate food to start feeding her now. I've tried to move on from smooth pureed food. Last night I mashed up some spagetti in a sauce. My LO took a few spoons. With every spoon she either coughed or made gag-like sounds. After about 6-7 spoons, she threw up? Is this normal?
