I think it is normal with the TT bottles.

I had the same issue, even tried enlarging the holes with a pin which never really helped but then also figured out that it is the valve. My lg is now 11 months old and smart enough (or hungry enough) to have figured out by about six months how to un-invert it herself when it does happen.

Hi Trace - I found that if I unscrewed the top and then screwed it back on again, it was usually better. Trapped air in that vent or something.

I had the same problem but I've figured it out
If you look in the inside of the teat - you see the valve and it is probably stuck closed. If you just squeeze it from either side and make sure it opens then you shouldn't have any issues
(Not sure if that makes any sense to you - I'll try take some pics to explain)

Kates do that as well, I actually just let her keep drinking, doesn't seem to effect the flow of the milk or give her wind.

Girls, I have a bit of a dilemma.

I use solely TT bottles with my 3 month old. She took to them immediately no problem...

I noticed that one of the teats started "caving in/inverting" while she drank, and I constantly had to remove it from her mouth and let it "wheeze" back into place. I thought it was a dud teat, but now the others have started doing it too...

I even tried a brand new "med flow - number 2" teat this morning, and same thing.

what do you think could be causing this? How can I prevent it?
