Hectic! The place is in Brakfontein, Centurion. But I haven't seen any First Growth milk on special in a long time. I guess I was just lucky. They probably overproduced big time. Will keep an eye open for it when I go there.

hi, where's the parmalat factory shop? my girls drink a litre of milk a day- so it can get quite expensive.they have one bottle of cow's milk and 2 first growth milk each! but much less than the 8/9 bottles they were having a year ago!

Ah, I see, fussy eater. Parmalat's First Growth milk is rather expensive, but I got some at a reduced price from the Parmalat factory shop, every now and then. My son loved it. It has added Omega oils, so it appears rather oily.

Hi Rakker

I have a fussy eater and she does not like normal cow's milk. Does not even like the NIDO much. Will give the Parmalat Growing up milk a try.

She would only drink cow's milk with nesquick added, and I prefer to not give that to her on a regular basis.

I just have to throw a spanner in the works... Why do you guys still give your older than 1 year kids tinned milk? They can start on ordinary cows milk from 1 year. Have you tried cows milk and they just don't like it? The reason I ask is, someone at the Toddler sense seminar I attended quite a while back, said that the tinned milk for kids older than 1 year is one of the reasons we are experiencing higher childhood obesity. She said that there is no reason, other than allergy, to not use cows milk from 1 year on. My son was very easy going. He didn't mind the change, but I guess not all kids are like him, hey ;) .

I have also recently switched to Nido because we struggled to find Nan3.

Just a question, did any of you found that your toddler become constipated? My LO is now and I think it started from the moment we switched her milk.

TIA
