I used to worry about this but found that james compensated with more milk on the days be ate poorly. At this age the food is more about experimentation and textures than nutrition. Personally I would just offer more finger food and not be arsed with the pureeing! If she's hungry she'll let you know pretty sharply!

Katie loves eating MY food - actually anyones food. Just remember their tummies are so tiny, even a few mouthfulls will full their tummy's. I hold my hand out for Katie to take food from it, and then also put food directly into her mouth. She'll eventually tell me when she is full. And then around 30min later will give her some jar food to top up.

I wonder the same...

I usually give Megan a lot of mushed up food because she doesn't eat that much when it's finger foods...

My LG is 11 months and is enjoying eating her supper in the form of finger food as opposed to being spoon fed mushed up food.

I just worry as to how much actually goes down her throat and how much gets thrown on the floor or stuffed under her high chair cover.

Should I still include some mushed up food just so I know she is getting enough in?
