There is a baby food maker on the market that is a food steamer and blender in one machine. I can't remember the name of the company that makes them but I've seen them advertised in baby magazines. In my opinion they look like a waste of money. I'd just steam/boil the food on the stove and then use a blender or food processor to puree. If you want to buy an appliance, rather just buy a normal food processor, it'll cost you less money and do the same job.

Hi Tshiko,

I am not sure what you mean with a baby food maker. Are you referring to food processors and stick blenders for pureeing of food?
