Hi Bobo

Our Pead recommended Nan 3. It is for babies 12 months and up.

Hi Bobo,

So awesome that the dads get so involved with the little one's too!

I am not a fan of any milk supplement with added sugar. It is the second ingredient in the ingredient list. For that reason I prefer normal cow's milk from one year and if you can get your hands on organic milk, even better. From there on I would rather supplement with a multivitamin of your choice plus a good probiotic daily.

Remember that sugar is often not labeled as sugar on the ingredient list and can be stated as sucrose, honey, fructose, corn sweetener, corn syrup, dextrose, fructose, fruit juice concentrates, glucose, high-fructose corn syrup, invert sugar, lactose, maltose, malt syrup, raw sugar, sugar syrup, cane crystals, cane sugar, crystalline fructose, evaporated cane juice, corn syrup solids, malt syrup.

Apart from not including sugar for health reasons, sugar is really damaging to little one's teeth. Normal cow's milk contain sugar naturally (lactose) and if you add even more sugar to that it does become a problem in my opinion.

Hi All

My daughter is 13 months now and her mother is starting to wean her off the breast. I just want to find out whether we should give her something like Nido to supplement her diet, now that she is drinking less and less breast milk. Furthermore, is Nestle Nido the best we can give her? (Like all parents in the world, we think that we're raising a little genius, so anything we can do to tip the scales in our favour, we want to do.)
