Hi Zandri,

I'm exclusively breastfeeding my now 6months old baby and I'm using the double electric medela pump. I know its a bit costly, but you can get it through some medical aid which I did.

I find that using the elctric one is quicker than the manual (Harmony) which I used with my first and I can getmore than 300mL a day with three pumping sessions. Its can be a bit noisy but I hide at work while pumping and no one has yet complained.

Hi! Just to add that nope, nothing was broken or blocked (my husband checked it out thoroughly). Suction decreased over time and it slowed down at around 6 months. Just my personal experience ...

I was told by my antenatal sister that is the best but nowadays there is just so much out there I just don't know myself. I definitely wouldnt go manual. If you struggled like me to get milk out and that was with an electric pump can you imagine what an issue I would have had with a manual pump lol

Good luck!

I used Tommie Yippie with my 1st until I discovered how quick and fuss-free doing it manually was.

Hi Zandri

I have the tommee tippee pump, it worked quite well in the beginning. I'm not sure if it slowed down because I didn't pump daily anymore, but it definitely slowed down.

Goodluck with your choices!
