Preparing Nestargel

Excuse my ignorance, but what is nestargel and what is it used for?

To make it easy to remember I use the 2 - 2 - 1 method....

200ml water in a little "potjie"
2 Scoops of Nestargel

Keep on stirring on a hot plate, until it boils.

When it start boiling time it for one minute.... (Keep on stirring..)

Then, when still hot pour it over in a bottle and let it cool down.

Then when prepairing your lo's bottle (say lo is drinking 180ml formula)...

Pour 140ml luke warm water in the bottle, and top it up up to the 180ml mark with the gel. Then shake it to mix. Add the milk powder and shake bottle good.

I double the recipe to the 4-4-1 method...

400ml water
4 scoops
1 minute boiling time

I am struggling to prepare Nestargel for my LO, I am not sure I understand the instructions well and I dnt want to mess up.

If you are using it or have used it for yur LO please explain it to me.
