Hi ladies,

posting for a friend, who is 20w preggers with her first: does anyone have names, contact details and references of private midwives in EL? The same for pro-natural gynaes, who would be willing to be a "back up"?

If I'm not mistaken, she is planning to give birth at a Netcare hospital. I told her to find out, if the hospital accepts private midwives. Any alternatives i.t.o. hospitals otherwise? I don't think, she's up for a home birth.

I have googled and given her the number of the nurse's council, but would be nice to have some stories of first-hand experience.
