Good books to read

It's a pity you aren't in Cape Town. I co-run a homebrith support group and we are currently in the process of writing a SOuth African Homebirth book. You can read up onsome SA homebirth stories though www.homebirth.org

There are some very good books I can recommend;
Sheila Kitzinger - homebirth - in fact ANY book by Sheila Kitzinger is damn good
Mama Bamba - by Robyn Sheldon - SOuth African midwife - she also runs a weekend workshop to prepare couples here in CTown.
Birth & Breastfeeding - Michel Odent
Spiritual Midwifery- Ina May Gaskin
Pregnancy & childbirth - Ina May Gaskin
Gentle Birth - Barbara Harper
Birth without violence - Frederick Leboyer

Hi all u beautiful ladies! I love this forum, I've joined recently and have only posted once before, I was not only surprised but so happy at the response that I got. U guys are awesome!

Anyway, was hoping I could get some more help from u.
I'm looking into doing a homebirth, hubby n I haven't decided yet, we will be speaking to a midwife this month and make the decision (as u guys have suggested, Arlen Ege)
Oh and it's hubby who needs the convincing, I'm waiting for him to say yes

Ok so back to the point of this post.
Can anyone please suggest good books to read right now, whether on homebirths or just about birth. Something about Hypnobirthing would be great as well, so I could learn the techniques and stuff on my own at home?
