my cousin didnt have medical aid and she went through nushifa hospital. when i went to visit i was very impressed with how clean it was. some have mentioned the ethekwini hospital - think its by nandi drive. not sure if they government. if i can remember correctly i think they are

had a friend who had their baby at wentworth hospital but not sure about what that one is like. nushifa was extremely clean when i went to visit.

I just want to found out which hospital did you deliver your baby. I'm also out of medical aid. I need advice on Durban hospitals. My only hope was McCord but at the moment I'm not sure if they have a maternity ward.

I am currently 34 weeks and this is my 3rd pregnancy, 3rd boy and 3rd c-section. I had my previous two at umhlanga hospital while I was covered on med aid but now with this one it was unexpected and I just missed the med aid by a few weeks so I am not covered. Was trying to get enough money together to pay private fees for umhlanga as my gynae works from there but I wont have it in time

So my question is...which government hospital is good for c-sections and where I wont have to worry about the care of the baby.
I've heard that the new King George hospital is really nice but dont know anyone that has been there for this.
Also considering that I had post hemorrhaging with c-section number 2 which has made me worried a little.
