Deja, yes, it was Patti form Durban being interviewed for Die Burger. The whole article got lost in translation and most of the message is totally skewed from what she said. She is the only practitioner trainer, not the only practitioner.... Personally I thought the article did more damage than good because it really gives a skew idea of HypnoBirthing.
For the rest, I really really don't know when a c-section would be the better option for a mommy. Unless it is an emergency situation? A c-section is a major operation, on one facebook group I chat on, I was shocked to see a whole discussion about the pain ladies are experiencing in their c-section scars with the recent cold weather. And most of those ladies' kids are 3 years old already. They also said that the scar hurts when they get ill, and a doctor told one of them that any inflammation in the body will inflame the scar tissue, making it hurt. I just don't know why someone would willingly put themselves through that? Besides, the risks for mom is incredible when compared to a natural birth!!
With HypnoBirthing, we experience little or no discomfort, so much less (if any) pain. You don't push forcefully, so much smaller chance of tearing. You are calmer, so you have millions of endorphins naturally being released into your body. Both you and baby get the benefit of these endorphins, making you both calm and happy. Endorphins are also 200 times stronger than morphine with regards to killing pain!!!
Believe me, after having done it the "normal" way and then with HypnoBirthing, I wish every woman could experience what I did, it truly was amazing.
