Very helpful, a lovely and supportive doctor, and she does not overcharge. Also you get a scan included with every consultation so you really only pay for fetal assessment scans (assuming you're on a hospital plan only). You can claim these back if your MA covers it

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and new to being a mum-to-be! I am 11 weeks preggers and I would love some first hand advice on the right hospital for my medical aid. I am with MediHelp dimension prime 1 and I have been to a gynae who charges double my medical aid tarriffs. I am a little worried as I can't pay half, or more, of my hospital bills when the time comes for me to have my baby. Is anyone with MediHelp and can suggest a hospital in the southern suburbs area that wont make me broke before I start my family??? What is Christian Barnard like? I think they are on the list for MediHelp. Thank you so much for your help!!
