Looking for a Dr

If you want to go to Femina, why not go straight to Midwives-Exclusive and use the active birth unit at Femina. That way you can give birth in the water or any other position that feels comfortable for you, but you have the back up of hospital right there. Check out the Midwive's info day on 4 July at their birth house in Rientondale. They will explain all the birth options in Pretoria very nicely and show you what they do. Its free, and really a great opportunity to gather some info.

Search for Midwives-Exclusive and phone them to book for the info session.

I birthed both my girls naturally without any pain meds at Femina.... you cant go wrong...

My gynae is Dr Reyn Marais (0123266535) and he is very pro natural birth... he also doesn't force you into anything you don't want. Like he said to me that I will need an epidural because its my first, and I asked him which baby did he push out of which hole... and he just laughed... But he left me to labour through the birth without pushing the epidural issue... to my delight. Cos I really wanted a completely natural birth.

We have moved to Hartebeespoort an I was advised that the hospital should not be more than a hours drive. We are 4 weeks pregnant. I would like to give birth at Femina Hospital. What dr can you recomend? I would kike a dr that is pro natural birth.
