HPV and Vaginal Delivery

Hi all moms out there!

Has anyone had experience with a natural birth while a small amount of genital warts are present?

According to my doctor, genital warts are often only picked up when woman become pregnant because of hormonal changes. This virus can lay dormant beforehand, always or be quite severe the moment one catches it. I have been with my fiance for over 10 years and I only found these little bumps about 1 month before I found out I was pregnant.

Anyway, having searched relentlessly online for advise, opinions and first hand experience without much help. I'm wondering if these warts can lead to a more painful natural birth? I know there is a very low risk of passing the virus onto my daughter. I will be going to a government hospital because I am not on medical aid and I know they don't perform this unless necessary. Also, I would really like to experience natural birth, it is after all what our bodies are designed for.
