file Topic of the week.

This week's topic is BIRTH.

1. Giving birth is one of the most amazing moments of your life. The first time you hold your baby is a moment you will treasure forever. How did you feel when you held your baby for the first time?

2. Did you want a natural birth and ended up having a c-section - how did that experience impact your parenting?

3. Did your water break and if so, where?

4. How long were you in labour?

5. Babies come whenever they feel it’s time. We would love to hear your funny story with a happy ending on how suddenly your baby felt now is the time to meet mommy.

1. From the first day home we had a bedtime routine. Bath, breastfeed in a darker room, sleep. Some nights it was at 8pm, and sometimes at 10pm, but each night the same routine.

2.Never woke up my lo during the night to feed. Also dark and quiet during the night feeds and nappy changes. Lively and bright during the day.

3. Moved baby at 7 weeks to her own room. Best decision ever. I needed my space back. Fetched her for a feed if she cried, put her back in her cot and she slept on.

4. Yes Daddy should. Even if he works. It's called parenting.

5. Be consistent and calm and don't give in. Bed time routine is very important. Routine worked for us.

This week we are talking about SLEEP:

1.) Pyjama drill, one of the most common things new born parents struggle with. What is your sleep routine for your newborn? Tell other mommies what works for you.

2.) Many babies switch their day and night. Once that happens, how do you get them back in routine to sleep more at night than during the day?

3.) When did you move your baby out of your room?

4.) Should daddy be helping during the night?

5.) How do you handle it when your toddler doesn’t want to sleep in her/his own room or bed?
