AF on clomid (tmi)

1st Timer - that does not sound right, maybe just call your gynae and ask whether it is necessary to come in and see him/her. I was on Clomid and actually had much lighter periods, so I guess it just differs with everyone. Perhaps your gynae could prescribe some cyclocapron for a few days???

Thanks Chanz. I think ir is the clomid rather than the pcos. My pcos is pretty mild. I'm just wondering at what point i'll collapse from blood loss...!

Shame 1st Timer. Thats horrible. And I know how annoying that can be.

I would suggest seeing your gynae. Even though when you have PCOS you bleed more, it doesnt mean you have to sit and suffer.

I know I wasnt on clomid in Oct, Nov, Dec 2010 and I bled like a pig. I went thru a super plus tampon and a night pad in 30min. It was a nightmare. That dec was the worst, I literally just put new sanitary stuff on, went to spar 5min up the road. Got there and came straight bk. When I got out the car it just flowed. And I dont know about you but I started getting bigger and bigger clots, like liver. tmi sorry.

Since Jan I havnt touched a tampon again. Only used pads. Its not my choice coz I hate pads. But hey you gotta do what you gotta do

Shame, I really would see your gynae. They can give you tabs to stop it. If it starts affecting your daily routine then its not normal even with PCOS.

Sorry for tmi, has anyone had really heavy periods on clomid? I didn't have this in 2009 or last cycle but this cycle I have a stupidly heavy period. I am literally soaking a super plus tampon and a pad every 3 hours. Even now on day 5. At what point do I need to worry if at all?
