Hello, I have new to this site.

I have been with Dr Coetsee since last August. We had our first meeting with him and then decided to wait until this year to proceed. I wanted to run comrades first.

We went back in June and in July I had a fresh embie implanted. It didn't take. We had 5 viable embies and chose to freeze only 3 due to cost factors. 1 in one straw and 2 in another. I had my first FET on the 6th of October> The embryologist was very, very happy with the embie, and Coetsee was happy with mu uterus lining. I a negative on the pregnancy test on the 16th. I am devastated and not sure where to from here.

I love Dr Coetsee and his staff are amazing - I just cant understand why it hasn't taken.

Has anyone had a pregnancy on the 3rd try? I am 37 years old and really worried about being an old mom, so really want to get preggers. Is it worth giving IVF a break?

Any advice would help. DH and I are not completely on the same page I am sure this is normal, he says getting pregnant has taken over our lives :-(

Hi, How was your first appointment with Dr Coetzee? I went to Dr Ramdeo this week, DH nearly had a heart attack when we heard the costs. Looking at going to Dr Coetzee next year

Hey Joey - Im currently with Dr Coetzee and love him to bits... he has a very straightforward, no-nonsense approach but not in a rude way.

He is also very thorough and will check everything out before starting any kind of treatment.

He has done a HSG and then a lap and also a SA for DH. We freaked out a bit about the DH's SA results and he was away so the sister got the embriologist (sp) to phon DH and told him to relax and that all is not lost which I thought was really nice of him. We are starting our fists IUI cycle next month

I phone the practise like a million times a month and they always remember me and is just too happy to help

A friend of mine referred us to him and she just had her baby after the first successfull round of IVF with him

Has he started you on any procedures?
