Hi Ladies,

Sorry been so quite , been hectic lately.

Went for a 2nd Opinion at the begining of this month , went to Vitalab, saw a very
nice , straight to the point Dr.

He basically confirmed what the previous Dr battled to tell me,
he says I have a 4% chance of falling pg and a very high rate of downs.
He suggests that I dont do AI , but rather do meds with timed intercourse he says thats a cheaper option, he says if he took the "emotion" out of my TTC , he would suggest IVF with a donor egg, alot of info to take in at 1 appointment.

I have to go for testing at the begining of my next cycle and a HCG xray once AF
has departed to see if I have a "healthy" home/womb he is worried that all the D&C's I have had might have left scarring.

So that's my immediate POA - do the tests and take it from there.

Debbie, am so soory that this was not your month... i"m keeping fx that it will happen soon for you. Don't give up... I'm sure in the end it will all have been worth it.

I am currently in the 2WW of my last Clomid cycle, which I know is a dud
My doc also advised me to think of going to the fertility clinic, and start IUI (same as AI) Its been 6 motnhs of medicated cycles, and nasty side effects, and still no BFP
will be meeting doc after mid October to hear if I need to be referred to FS, and will re-post the poa then

Hi DebbieF, sorry to hear, I know the disappointment is big. I also didn't fall pregnant this month - it was the last month on my homeplan. My FS wants me to take a rest cycle so that my body can take a break from the Fertomid before we start AI next month. But hey, two years ago I fell pregnant with my daughter on my "rest cycle", so you just never know, hang in there!!
