I am so sorry for your loss.I too had a mc last october at 6 weeks and again :( on teh 2/08/2012 at 11 weeks but baby was only measuring 9 weeks, and we had just seen the heart beat at 7w6d...
I had a DnC done on the 3rd and after my checkup yesterday ,dr said to wait 3 months to ttc again,I think im gonna wait a month or 2 before trying again if I can,the reason he said for waiting was to just check if im ovulating.I am almost 38 so age is an issue with me.
Surprisingly both hubby and i took to our new dr after seeing many gynaes who were always cold,so maybe a change is also good.I do have a beautiful miracle 9 year old daughter, who i am so grateful for.
I have also started using Inofolic which is supposed to help with egg quality ...can only hope tho.

please keep us updated and take care...lotts of baby dust to all of us...with Gods grace we will be mommies again

want2bemommy - I am SO sorry for your losses, each one just chips away at any joy at finding out about a pregnancy and you find yourself anticipating the loss rather than the baby. I have had 4 miscarriages, 1 years ago and 3 between Sept 2009 and May 2010 so I emphathise with you!!!

With my first child - I had ecotrin and progesterone up until 9 weeks and then switched to clexane injections until 34 weeks. Sadly there is only so much they can do. I am not going to say dont stress or worry because that is bullshit. I stressed the entire pregnancy and nothing anyone could say took that anguish away. I really suggest you go for councilling because you need someone to listen.

My husband was always there for me and when I fell pregnant Aug 2010 he told me that I must contact my gynae straight away, which I did do. I do really believe that your gynae is looking after you as I had all of those tests you describe done.

I can only say their is life after all these losses, I just cannot say when I am afraid and you have to keep trying if you want to be a mommy :( Biggest hugs to you!!!!!

4 m/c's: 1 2003; Sept 2009 twins; Dec 2009; May 2010.

April 20 2011 c-section - Rowan 3.18kg (My Clexane miracle)
14 July 2012 c-section - Gemma 2.9kg (My total surprise miracle)

Hi there,

I have fallen pregnant last year September, we saw the heartbeat at 6 weeks, however when we went for the 10 weeks scan the doctor said I had a missed miscarriage and that the fetus only measured 8 weeks. I was totally heart brokened and I did not suspect that at all since I did not experience any problems.

We then tried this year and I fell pregnant in March, I went for scan at 5 weeks and all we could see was the ring, no heartbeat yet. My dr put my on Utrogestan and Ecotrin. Then again when we went for 9 week scan, another missed miscarriage only this time we could not even see the fetus. Went for a DC last month.

My dr sent me and my husband for chromosome bloodtests and he also tested my phospholopides and thyroid. However these tests did not indicate any problems... He has now put my on Ecotrin, Neurobion (something to do with Vit B12) and Elimni Rad (Antioxidant and vitamins) which I have to take before we try again.

I am so frustrated and I don't want to go through this again :(

I have been thinking of changing gynaes but then again I have heard that my gynae is very good and that he is also a FS, he is just not very personal...

Is there maybe anyone out there going through the same thing / any recommendations?
