big hug to you. it is the most devastating thing to experience.

my gynie told me to wait 1 cycle.
i had the miscarraige naturally and did not go for a D&C and i know with D&C your whom needs a bit more time to heal thats why your gynie advised to wait 3 months.

and rather not do home pregnancy tests. my gynie told my it take your body at least 2 months to recover with regards to hormones so you can actually get positive tests till 8 weeks after without being pregnant.
and a false positive is very hard emotionally - i got one and it was just terrible.

i would say, if you feel ready, you can start trying again after a month. also bear in mind that your cycle might still be very haywire.
my cycle never recovered after the MC, but i did fall pregnant 3 months after again.

you can also keep taking your preggy vites

me 35, DH 39

Hi Flyangel,

My gynea advised us to wait at least 3 months. He said the body heals quickly but the mind takes a bit longer. In the end I was glad we waited.

But if you feel emotionally ready then go for it.

Hope you get your next BFP soon.

Everyone says something different. My gynae said fine to try again while other friends gynaes said best to wait. My period came back following month and the last words of my gynae were see you again when you are 8 weeks.
If you are emotionally ready and physically ready then follow your heart.

Good Day,

I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks and its one of the most devastating times in my life. I had terrible pains like labour pains and bleeding went to the hospital and I was admitted. I did the D & C and was crushed when my Dr told me that we should wait for 3 months before trying. I've been obsessed since, making my own research and I am confused. Some people say wait for your 1st periods, some say 2-3 months and some say try right away when you feel you are emotionally and physically ready.

So based on this confusion, we decided to try and its been 2 weeks now and no periods yet. So I took a home pregnancy test Monday afternoon and it came out negative and I'm scared to take another one incase I get disappointed.

What is you take on this issue? I'm soooo ready to be a mom again I think I'm going crazy because we've been trying since October last year. I thought we had it but God decided otherwise. How long did you wait after your loss?

:( :(
