@ Wafeeqah, ag shame man Guess it's like that from the beginning. When they only lie there, you want them to sit, when they sit you want them to crawl, then walk and start solids and eventually speak..... and then it's too late

When they were only lying there drinking a bottle and sleeping they were hardly any work! But every phase is still exciting and a challenge and I do enjoy it.

my LB was born 1 Jan 2009. He is such a busy boy now, just love it.

he is still at home so i feel he is a bit behind but have gotten alot of comments on his talking (which i think is not that much) but understandable.

he is going to school in jan when he turns 3, S-C-A-R-Y

Dont worry it will all happen in due time and when it does, his going to talk your head deurmekaar and you going to tell him to keep quiet for just 5mins...lol

my daughter was speaking so much 1 day and i already had such a headache and i told shhhhh, just stop talking now and she looked at me and burst into tears, told myself not again will i tell her that...lol

Clever little girl! My son is a bit on the slow-go when it comes to talking, he understands everything 110% and is indeed very-very clever for his age, but he still only have a few words in his vocabulary and can't yet put them together to make a sentence. He babbles a lot though, it's just a matter of forming the words correctly, hope it will happen soon!

no definately and i am very grateful for that time with her, and i can really see the difference between her and other children her age who's parents work. Definately alot of development from her side. She is so smart, says the funniest things and can have a full conversation with you, very understanding and thinks for herself, speaks very well, knows her full ABC's and can count to 20.

I think it's great that you got the opportunity to stay home for 2 years, a lot of mommies would kill to do that and I think it's good for the development of your baby especially the first 2 years.

I wanted to stay home for only a year but was so difficult finding work that I was home for so long but yet I dont regret it, taking some time getting use to been away from my daughter for so long and her from me. But my hours not too bad 9 to 3 to yeah its ok
