Keep us updated on what you have planned! I also have no idea gift wise what to get them... Perhaps a tricycle / bicycle of sorts???? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

We just found out on Thursday that we're expecting number 2!!! Big shock for us! But all in God's plan hey! So they'll have about a 2year 6month gap! The same gap that my brother and i have which actually works perfectly for us!

Anthea, I agree, I think this age is so much more fun than the baby stage! My LB turns 2 on 6th July. He's a real little chatterbox and it's so nice to be able to talk to him, and when something is wrong he can tell me! When he had an ear infection recently he told me 'ear sore' so that's how I knew it was time to visit the doctor!

I haven't started planning his party yet, but I have started thinking about it. I'm thinking of maybe doing a Barney the Dinosaur theme and I will also have to find a venue because I want to invite his friends from daycare. Last year we only had a small party for family at our house.

Do you know what present you're going to get for your LO? I have no idea what to get. Any one have gift suggestions for a two year old boy?

I must say i am LOVING my LG at the moment ! the way she talks, her independent behaviour, the fact that she is quite capable of using her imaginiation and keeping herself entertained! She is the life and soul of any party! Cant imagine having another one but we need to start soon! Definitely dont want her growing up alone.

she turns 2 on the 2nd of July! so its her crown birthday - hahaha! We are going big - having a minnie mouse themed party at a party venue in Centurion! i am so excited - really cant wait! Lots to do still - my aunt is having a cute minnie mouse outfit made for her!

Hi. I'm quite new to moomie. My son was born 6 July 2010. I can't believe he's almost two! Starting to think about his birthday party already. I need to find a venue because I'll be inviting more kids this year, and I'm wondering what theme to have (or even whether I'll go with a theme or not). So far I'm thinking either a Barney party or a motorbike theme, seeing as my son is obsessed with motorbikes! Tell me about your LO, how are you finding the toddler stage? I'm loving it, in some ways much better than babyhood.
