Hi ladies

How's it going with the party planning?

It is so cold here, I don't want to leave the house! My LG has a cold again ... She is so grumpy poor thing.

She is driving me nuts! She is now pulling herself up to stand and starting to cruise. I should be thankful that she is more mobile, but I hate it when she falls. I hope this phase doesn't last too long ...

I finally found a venue for my LG's party, so now just need to finalise the preparations

Hi guys...

DH is sort of hinting that he wants a big party. This morning he says to me, he's asked his grandparents to use their house for the party because they have a huuge yard. So I asked about money, I mean he knows things have been tight with the new baby, he says to me to me to just arrange the cake and party packs and he'll braai some meat for the adults. I'd only invited close family, now he says I should invite everyone

So I don't know, all I know is I wanted to celebrate this day with my family and a few friends, big parties are so unncessecary and you end up with a big mess... I'm gonna try talk him out of it tonight, but we'll see how it goes...

Work is fine, but I miss baby so much during the day. She also cries so much when I leave in the mornings, we have a new nanny, she started at the beginning of the month, she's ok so far. I don't want to get too excited about her, then she disappoints me like the other 2

Patty if you have the energy for a big party, I say go for it! If I could afford it, I would pay someone to do everything and clean up the mess!

Your work hours sound, wish I could find a nanny I could trust and maybe work part time.

Eish ladies, its a struggle about the party. close family only: 9Adults and 7kids! so might decide to stick to that

but then we have really close friends (4adults and 6kids) who are also (hinting) looking forward to the big day.

we struggled for long to have this baby, so everyone is soo OOOOhhh AAAAAhhhh about our LG.
even the Gran-parents are willing to assist so we have something memorable on her 1st birthday. Eish what to do?

I went back to work in Jan, work for myself thou so I work 12-6pm Mon-Wed and 9am - 6pm Thur & Friday. I actually enjoy it this way
Had the WORST nanny for Jan, luckily she left. then from Feb I got another lady, she's the PERFECT nanny so good with my baby, patient, experienced and Im so blessed to have her care for my princess.
