I am really glad it's Friday - a nice weekend to relax. Had to cancel our braai and outings this weekend till we know if my boy has swine flu - don't want to infect everybody!
I have read some of you are also going to Kloof MC, but can't remember who? I am with Dr Johan Cillie at Kloof. Had 2 very good experiences with my boys. Youngest was in ICU because he was Prem, and was very impressed(it was an eye opener - don't wish it upon any of us for this pregnancy!)

I am so glad I missed the MS with my pregnancies - I had it one day very bad in my first pregnancy, and never again. That day was horrible, I don't know how you ladies cope! Good luck - thinking of you!

Re your concern about your first, guess it'll come down to not making him feel 'shoved aside' though Im sure thats easier said than done.
Im also concerned about how my son is going to feel (he's the centre of our universe at the moment)... but then I think about how much more fun life is with siblings and realise that its actually a great gift.
I hope he agrees with this sentiment when they reach their teens and squabble over everything!

This is my second - got a little one year old boy. Just learning to walk - such a cutie. Feel a bit bad that he's going to be shoved aside soon... He's so used to being no1!

And can you believe this - no1 was unplanned. using contraception and everything. and now no2 also an oopsie. feel like i should shout to the universe that contraception DOES NOT WORK!!!

My LG is better and slept through last night. Sjo, what a relieve. The sores in her mouth are also a lot better. Miracle jellies that we used.

AFM - Still visiting the loo 2 to 4 times a night. Breasts still sore and MS coming and going. Had it bad yesterday morning. And I have a sex drive like mad (TMI I know, but do any of you have the same thing?)

Well anyways, just wanted to pop in and say hi!

its a very overwhelming/unreal feeling. But as soon as you go to your first scan and hear the heartbeat it will all get very real! Enjoy it

Debbie, so sorry to hear, but as Maureen said, we will still hope for good news next week. It is still too long fo your scan...Can they not maybe put you in for a quick scan?

Juandre, kidz are so clever, my LO also asked me a few days before we found out I was pregnant. Was so freaked out. Now he keeps pulling up my shirt to see if the tummy is bigger. He is soooo adorable.

Lately I am having my hands full with him. He keeps crying if he doesn't get his way. As a matter of fact he cries about everything. Especially if my answer is no.

cookie M - how is that cramps going, any better? I have to wait till week 16 for my next scan, that is still 4 weeks!! Maybe she can sqeeze me in next week. need to talk to DH


Thinking of going to the flea market in Meuzenberg on Sunday. That is if the weather is any good.

gosh, i remember that particular roller coaster. while preggies with my first, it actually took me a couple of months just to get used to the idea and to be properly happy about it (without all those other conflicting feelings)!
