Hi Shantal, I can completely relate. I was an absolute ball of nerves before that scan.
Its truly amazing the level of detail you can see.
During my first pregnancy, it was the first time that the whole pregnancy felt real. and it was lovely for my husband too, for whom the whole thing also felt real for the first time.
I was so incredibly relieved and excited afterwards, I took the whole day off work, just to let things sink in.

Im really sorry to hear your news. Its such a horrible thing to go through, I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy. I had a MC a couple of years back and I remember it as a real low point in my life I was pregnant again though, 5 months later... and 9 months after that little Oscar was born. I hope you both have similar happier stories to share as soon as you're up for it.

I dont know why I havent posted. I was waiting until after the 12 week scan, and I guess its just been so busy I havent posted an update. Ive had some pretty nasty cramping the last couple of days, but thats about it. Best news is though, after 2 bouncing boys, this third and last is a girl.

I lost my baby last month. Started spotting and a scan showed no heartbeat. Had the d and c done on 24 April. Totally heartbroken.

I couldn't even bring myself to post anything.

I hope you are okay though through your loss.
