Hi Ladies,

Ive been very quiet since I joined the group as we are busy packing house to move to the Hoedspruit area!

Had our 12 week scan on 6 November and turns out Im further than we thought... So my due date has changed now to 10 May! Very excited that we get to meet baby earlier than we originally thought!




Just have to get past this move and settled into our new home and then will be actively looking for a Dr in Nelspruit. If any of you know of a good Dr or a Private Midwife in that area please let me know!

Hi Ladies

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I had a good 12 week scan this week and feel like I can join you now. I've had three miscarriages in the past year and didn't want to join the boards and get attached to you all, and then have to say good bye like I did on the Feb boards.

I'm 36, hubby ( is 39 and this will be our first baby, but as I said my 4th pregnancy in a year. We got married in Aug 2012 and were not "not trying" for a year before the wedding, and actively trying since the wedding.

I had a scan at 7w4d and we saw the heartbeat , and then had my 12w scan this week Tuesday and everything was pretty much perfect . My EDD based on LMP is 30 May, but the scans suggest 24 May at this point.

Baby was very active at the most recent scan and it was truly an amazing experience.

It is easier for me to chat on the boards than on whatsapp but I will join the group there. If there is anyone else available to chat on the boards that would be cool.

We plan on not finding out gender, as there are so few surprises in the world.

Anything else you want to know, just ask!

NT - Nuchal Translucency Screening - to help assess your baby's risk of having Down syndrome (DS) and some other chromosomal abnormalities as well as major congenital heart problems. I suppose it's the same as the Fetal Assesessment Scan.

Yip, I think Anjelee is also this thursday, mine is next week wednesday.

Whats an NT?

I started having a bit of ms yesterday, but only like once each time, I am 11 weeks, isnt that a bit late for ms to start?

I went for my 9 week scan last Friday. It's so amazing to hear the heartbeat! Booked my NT for the 20th November.
