Sorry for being so quiet. I am in the same boat as PP. Baby is feeding every 3 hours and when he sleeps I try to sleep as well. Here is my number 0827223487.

Apologies for not replying to all topics. How are all the mommies with babies doing? And how are all the moms to be coping?

I have to go see my gynie tomorrow for my one week check-up. He was on leave thats why its only being done now.

Hi ladies, just a quick update here. Niamh was born this afternoon at 14:01 and weighs 3.22kg, healthy and very vocal. She really doesn't feel like mine yet, and looks SO different from her sister at birth, it's chalk and cheese.

We're both doing well, breastfeeding is ok for now (she's latching and seems to drink).

I'm struggling to post pics from my phone... Will see of I can get it right, else will try again tomorrow.

Oh, see the comment on your ulcers now, Kimmy. I'm not sure if you can use pyralvex as suggested. Teejel would probably be ok, but you can also use gentian violet if you don't mind a purple mouth it won't help so much for pain, but will disinfect. I think you can use dynexan.

Yes, sorry been so quiet. Been busy with my munchkin and sometimes it's difficult to type as opposed to scrolling through the conversation. I've sent HDVB a whatsapp now.

@Aden - at least you've got through the concerts! Makes me think of the sister of a friend of mine who is a high school teacher and she organizes prize giving every year - her sister and I refer to the event as the apocalypse and it's high stress time.

AFM - El is keeping me and DH on our toes. She's wanted lots of cuddles again and has learnt a new trick after bath - wee in her towel At least she seems to have grown a bit - one newborn onesie is too small for her legs (her legs stay bent when she stretches out). I'm really hoping for good news tomorrow at her weigh in! Still trying to soldier on with BF, got very despondent earlier cause I tried to pump my left side between feeds and got a pitiful amount out, but lactation consultant says not to worry. Just don't feel like the metoclopramide is working, but we'll see. El didn't need a bottle at midnight, woke up and had boob, we both fell asleep and then she had more boob and a bottle at 3am.
