I would to join this group, as I'm also possibly due July 2016, I'm about 8 weeks going for my 9th week, according to my calculation and when my last period was, so I hope it correct, due to see the Doc, at 12 weeks, which will be Jan the 4th.
I have been struggling with morning sickness, through the day and have a funny metallic taste in my mouth constantly, really is uncomfortable

Hi Happyness.

I said goodbye to my baby in the early hours of this morning. Second and Third Dr all said the same thing - no heartbeat. I was prescribed with Cytotone and told to take the tablets and wait for contractions.

This has been the worst thing I have ever gone through - to feel such loss, such failure. It will take a while fir me to get used to not having a bun in the oven but if it's God's will then who am I to change it? Dr's kept telling me I had an "abnormal pregnancy " it was "unnatural" - my baby would be brain dead - and I think that's what caused my heart to sink the most,

I'm happy that your baby is doing well Happyness. I need to take a long holiday then maybe hubby and I can try again next year.

Hi Ladies,

So I went for my scan this morning and all is in order with baby. I measured 8 weeks at the scan which is pretty close.

Next scan will be the NT scan on 12 January

FTM - any news yet? did you get that 2nd opinion?

Just something interesting a came accross:

Your babay at 9 weeks:
While it's way too early to feel anything, it's not too early to hear something (possibly). Your baby's heart is developed enough — and grown large enough — so that its beats can be heard with a Doppler, a handheld ultrasound device that amplifies the lub-dub sound the heart makes. But don't worry if your practitioner can't pick up the sound of your baby's heartbeat yet. It just means your shy guy or gal is hiding in the corner of your uterus or has his or her back facing out, making it hard for the Doppler to find its target. In a few weeks (or at your next visit) the miraculous sound of your baby's heartbeat is certain to be audible for your listening pleasure.

You dr just made a big mistake. Everything is fine with baby.

Just be calm and bring us the good news as soon as you hear I aslo think a 2nd opinion is a good option.
