Hi Ladies,
D_SMom - that sounds hectic! Hopefully it's not that bad this time. Did they deliver baby early last time? I'm also thinking of sterilization but I just can't make my mind up. Might send DH for a vasectomy instead because I always have natural births and would rather not have an op and a vasectomy is such a simple procedure. But this is definitely the last baby! I don't think I can cope emotionally with another one.
Vannah - that's awesome that you can use your nephews stuff. Just remember there are a few things you must buy new...like a cot mattress because of bacteria and the risk of SIDS.
MommyMe - My baba is also not moving that much. I think I am quite busy though so I don't feel the movements that much. When I sit for a bit and drink some water though, he starts moving around. Some babies are busier than others but bring it up to your gynae next time, just to be sure.
Welcome Melissa! You must be so excited! Wonderful to have a miracle baby! Lots of boy babies in this group! Where are you from?
Ok...so I think we all need to spill the beans on the names we're thinking of. DH and I are still trying to come up with a name we like. It's very hard, especially because we already have 2 awesome boy's names that suit our boys so well! I keep telling the baby to tell me his name!
So, maybe you can help me. My other sons' names are Colby Phoenix and Griffin Reece. Our daughter is Indigo Gemma. Our surname starts with C and we are pretty set on the middle name being Orion, so no F, C or K names because then the initials are pretty rude.
My DH really likes the name Onyx, I don't like the OO initials and I think everyone will spell his name wrong. Also, what would you call him for short? Onny? That's terrible. We both like Dashel. My worries with it though is that it has no meaning and sounds a bit like a girl's name. I love the nickname Dash. But I also worry that he will constantly be repeating his name and spelling it for everyone. Then there's Sawyer, which we both like too. My worry with Sawyer is it's a very distinctive name and comes with a bit of an expectation of a very active, outdoorsy boy. Also, it doesn't shorten nicely to anything. I also like Titus (but DH doesn't), Hunter (though it's becoming quite a popular name and we try to stay away from popular names), Thatcher (which DH hates) and Talon (which DH loves and I hate)
What do you ladies think? Any other suggestions?
