I am 6 weeks + 1 today, and I still feel great. Apart from extreme fatigue and a bout of sniffles, I'm doing well, and baby is still cozy in mummy's tummy. It almost feels unreal, still, maybe because I still have very little symptoms?!? My back started to hurt today, but I suppose it has something to do with the silly chair I have to use at work. Hubby is taking my office chair from home to work tomorrow morning - Let's hope it works!! Just over a week left before I get to see bubba for the first time! I am so excited!!

Just for interest sake, is yellowy creamy CM ok in early pregnancy? There is no odor or itchiness, so it's not an infection.

@Claire - I am also hoping for a girl, but I'll be happy with any gender, as long as baby is healthy! Glad you are feeling better and that the nausea is gone!

@EmJ - I understand the frustration about waiting for your ultrasound! I have not seen my little peanut yet, have to wait just over a week longer, before I will get to hear the heartbeat.

Welcome Liv and Anzel! Liv, you and I have the same EDD, according to my scan! Tell us a bit more about yourselves? How old are your other kids, Liv?

EmJ - No news is good news! As long as you aren't cramping or bleeding, everything is fine, hon. And 13 week scan is awesome...baby looks like a real baby and is moving around like mad. How are you feeling now? Has the nausea gone?

MommyMe - So you are thinking boy! I hope you're right. A pigeon pair is awesome.

AFM - I had my scan last week. Baby looks good. We could even see the little fingers and toes. So cute. Did the NT fold and well within normal. She also told me my cervix is twice as thick as they expect to see. Haha, explains why I always have to be induced. According to the scan, my due date is 29 Oct but I'm just going to leave it at 1 Nov because I always go over anyway.

Also, it looks like baby is a boy, from the angle of the nub! I don't want to believe it, this baby feels like a girl. Hopefully we'll know for certain at the next scan on 23 May.

My nausea is basically gone now but I am still so exhausted! Started taking iron supplements to see if that helps a bit. I can't handle it anymore.

How's everyone doing? Any changes symptoms wise on your side?

Anzel - welcome All still well on your side? My nausea kicked in from 6weeks - had it in some degree for the whole day but not that bad, I coped fine. Some Emex syrup worked wonders when I had to see clients and felt bad! Have you told anyone yet?

AFM - I'm 11 weeks tomorrow - next scan with gynae is at 13 weeks and the day after that scan we have a NT scan just to have a 2nd opinion check up for downs & everything else. I'm just feeling so annoyed that the last scan was 7weeks and next is only at 13 - want one nowwww to know all is still well

Hi ladies, i hope you are all well?
I'm pregnant with our 3rd baby. EDD 29 Oct. HHad my NT scan on Friday and all looks well. Baby measures 1week bigger and the lady that did the scan says baby is a girl. I know its early so trying not to get my hopes up too much. We have a girl and a boy so in the end all that matters is that baby is healthy.
Congratulations to all you ladies. May this be a happy and healthy pregnancy for all of us. Looking forward to sharing our experiences.

I was wondering if you would welcome me into this group? The activity on the December 2016 group is minimal!

I am finally pregnant, after 2 years TTC, and my baby is due late December 2016. I am exactly 5 weeks today, and am not experiencing any bad symptoms, expect occasional heartburn after certain foods, breast enlargement and tenderness and fatigue. My HCG Trippled from 74 last Tuesday to 286 on Friday last week, and I need to go again this Friday. I am only seeing my gynae for the first ultrasound on the 16th of May 2016. Praying for a sticky bean!

Wanted to post yesterday.
Made app with my old gynae then decided last week Friday about another gynae. Got a last minute app for past monday. Had to leave work early but it was so worth it!

We saw baba again and all good. He was so busy. I have a feeling its a boy but i might be sooo wrong.

Having a bit of a down week. Just work stuff etc.

I think we found out at 16 weeks last time. Only going for another scan at 18 weeks now. Hope we will be able to see.

There's some fun home gender tests you can do. Just for fun. I did the bicarb one and got a girl result. You put 2 tablespoons of bicarb soda in a glass, add some first morning urine, if it fizzes like a coke, it's a boy. If there's no reaction, it's a girl. I think it just reacts to your ph.

But you can also try and have a scan at 13 weeks. Ask the Dr to get a side profile picture of the nub. The nub is the bit that becomes either the penis or the clitoris. At 13 weeks they are about the same size in girls and boys but a girls nub lies flat, parallel to the spine. A nub that is up more than 30 degrees is probably a boy. It's very interesting, we are going to see on Friday if we can get a good picture of the nub.

We only found out at 28 weeks with my first son. He was shy and always had his leg in the way. My daughter we kept a surprise until birth! It was fantastic...but I wouldn't do it again. My other son we found out at 22 weeks. We tried to see at 18 weeks, but his hand was in the way! Can't wait to find out either. They can usually tell by 16 weeks but some Dr's are cautious until 20 weeks.
