Lovely to hear all the good news.

@ Kanyo - you are lucky, super blessed ! ! I also had a surprise baby shower at work on Friday - got mostly clothes an a "lekker" baby city voucher. Washed all the clothes and packed it...

My appointment last week went well - our baby is 2.7kg all ready ! Everything looks good !

AFM - headaches (not as bad as the 1st trimester - thank goodness), got some aches and pains but not too bad. I am becoming/feeling big and tired/drowsy.

Hi ladies

There are so many updates. I just happy to hear everyone is great and the babies are all growing well.

AFM. I went for my appointment. I was 30wks. Babies surprised me with their weights. Twin A is 1.4kg and twin B is 1.3kg. Can't believe how much they have grown. Doc says we will deliver around 36w ks which will be one of the days after the 9th may. But I have another check up on 18th April which is 3wks time and decide from there how I'm managing with the pain.

Sooo tired and pelvic pain is killing to the core. I literally cannot walk nd wen I do I walk with my legs open. Most days it feelings like these babies must want to come out.lol

Can't believe Kanyo and Markev have around 3wks left. I wish it was me.

Kanyo I'm green with envy at your baby shower gifts. I also had my baby shower this past Saturday. And it's was great fun except everybody went crazy and bought clothes. I appreciate it but most clothes are 3 to 6 months. Which means I have alot of stuff still to buy. Can't walk to even go shopping and I'm super fussy. Will post few pics from my bby shower.

Friday I had a surprise baby shower at work. I got everything from stroller ,bouncer, humidifier,newstart up kit,microwave sterilizer, high chair, play gym ,bottles ,clothes,vouchers ,jumbo seat

Saturday had another surprise baby shower at Kiviets Kroon the venue was so beautiful it was a picnic setup. I also got more gifts bouncer x 2 , nappy binsx2,clothes, snuggle nest,clothes, gowns for the baby,baby gym and vouchers.

I am really grateful for my colleagues and friends.

Went for my 27weeks gynae appointment this morning.Baby in good shape so his mother .
Dr said what a happy chappie we growing lol...im due the 13th June Ceasar.

@Nikita - I have debated the washing powder, we washed all her clothes with Omo auto and used baby sta soft (we actually used this before baby) we will switch to something else if this irritates her skin.

@Maryke - I will have to see what my Gynea says on the 24th of April. I just hope she doesn't tell me that i have to have a c-sec in that week lol. The grandparents will still be on holiday by then

@Kanyo - Just over 3 weeks left for you and Maryke... Can't believe that our babies will be here in +/- 1 month

People keep on asking me if I am excited or nervous.... and I really can't answer their questions. It feels so natural to me, i know our lives will be changed for ever and all of those things, but it really just feels like a natural process. I don't know if it is because we have waited so long for this to happen or what.

Question: Does the emotional roller coaster stop after pregnancy or does it continue into motherhood? I have never been this emotional, and I feel sorry for my Husband because we are really not overly emotional people (crying...)

What washing powder will you be using for babies clothes?
