Hi ladies

Sorry to here about the jaundice of both babies.

I'm really glad the milk has come in. Please ladies stay hydrated and feed babies as much as you can or else the boobies with hurt. I personally feel it's your choice to give breast or formula feed. But I will say if you are returning to work it's best to remind baby about formula especially if you won't be expressing while at work. Oh and expressing is good it gives daddy something to do and you can relax or get your hair done. Lol

Anyway ladies take care of yourselves and enjoy your beautiful girls.

I just had a successful feed, breasts very hard now milks comming !!! She is back under the lights and i am going snooze now too xx

Don't worry mommy about the milk. It will come.I will also buy formula to top up. I don't want a child who won't sleep because she is just hungry and my breast milk is not making her full.

That's great news that they saw the jaundice before you were discharged. 176 is low

Hi ladies, busy couple of days... Henyke has jaundice, well not yet the score was 176... which is low but they treat it now and then it doesn't come fully, she is under the lights now and hopefully both of us will be discharged tomorrow. Breastfeeding was okay the first day... now I am topping up, seems like my milk is coming in... but for now I have been milked like a cow and I'm soar. The gyne and pediatrician made me feel like an a$$hole mother for only wanting to only give the colostrum and then move to bottle. This evening I am over it, can't wait to get home to feed my way... and by then I won't be under feeding, I believe the milk will be in. Other wise Henyke is really a sweet little girl only cries when necessary... I really need sleep...

Hi ladies sorry for not updating the progress of Leago. She is out of the phototherapy today. They want to see if jaundice will continue gon down or up. She started the treatment Friday it was 300 now its 186 today.

I was discharge Saturday it's not easy to go up and down going to hospital and still in pain . Today I stayed the whole day was breastfeeding her. I express 150ml for later . So that I can come and relax.

So I will hear tomorrow if it's going down.Hopefully by Tuesday she will be discharged.
