Its a bit on the quite side here.

I have been flat with flu again. Hopefully this is the last time. Feeling much better today though.

I have also picked up about 2.5kg so far.

Hey everyone

So...lets talk about weight gain so far!

I am taking out my stats with my other 2 pregnancies and realized with a shock (!), that I should maybe take a serious look at the amount of weight. I guess it also has to do with the fact that it is Winter, but...seriously, I would need to take some stock and make sure that I do not pick up too much.

With Lee I picked up 1kg at 18 weeks
With Mr. M I picked up 1.5 kg at 18 weeks
With this nunu, I have picked up 3kg thus far!!!!

I usually start picking up weight pretty quickly after 25 weeks - so I cannot pick up anymore until then...otherwise I will be as round as a ball comes December!!

Joo~ste - I'm feeling a lot better after 4 days of doing absolutely nothing. And all I took was ascorbic acid which is basically vitamin C. So very happy to be better!!

I feel you on the constipation. I eat a big bowl of all bran every second morning and that does help. Hot water is yuk - rather you than me!

AFM - I'm waiting to feel her moving but nothing so far. My tummy also doesn't seem to be getting any bigger. But that can also be my impatience saying that. Bit of a hurry up and wait thing this... haha.

Yes, we are feeling very excited about the scan. I can feel her late at night when going to bed. She is not very busy...and I do not feel much, but every little nudge makes me feel more reassuring every time.

Are you feeling better? Bedrest is very important. Trust that you had lots of that during the weekend.

The constipation is killing me!!
Any advice?

I am taking some fiber sachets once in a while and someone just advice me to drink a cup of hot water when getting up and before going to bed. Have had my first cup just now (something to get use to.... yuk....hot water... )

Reef, the only thing that the doc gave me was a saline nose spray and the green gargle, and panado , thats about all you can safely use. Lots of fluid and rest is the best.

jooste, your scan is coming closer, you probably cant wait.

AFM: havent felt the little one again, cant wait to feel him more often, probably have to wait another few weeks. Cant believe its weekend again tomorrow, we are going away for a small breather.
