I am one of the fortunate ones. She is a happy spitter. So no side effects. She had heart burn when the reflux first started, but that did not seem to stick around long.

She had those meds as well, but they did nothing at all. And I agree with you 100% those tablets are aweful. I stopped giving them as soon as I realised they weren't doing anything for her. Tried them again around two months when the reflux got real bad, and they still did nothing.

We did try something to thicken the milk, it wasn't nestargel. Cant remember what it was called. But she was still the same.
So I just learnt to except it.

We started solids this week, so now I dont smell like sour milk anymore, I smell like sour milk and butternut or carrots. LOL can only laugh:)

But my child is happy and healthy, so I am NOT complaining!

SO nice to see this thread up and running again, havent been on moomie in ages!

Shame Michelle, is baba on Losec Mups? My LB was also on that, it didnt stop him from throwing up - just nuetralised the acid so that it doesnt hurt when he brings up his milk.

It made him terribly constipated so I stopped it.....when he was 3months old. His now 5months and Im sort of glad I did, he also got it bad, but I give him at least 1 water bottle a day so make his acidy tummy a bit better, he doesnt seem to moan as much now when he throws up

They sure are terrible meds, the tablet doesnt even dissolve fully so I knwo what a mission it is to get the little one to take it

SO for now...I've kinda gotten used to smelling like sour milk

Have you tried nestargel? it thickens the milk so that they dont bring it up once they've consumed it?

AAAHHH our girls are the same age. Amy was born at 18:15 on the 28th of October. Also emergency c section.

With the cooler weather coming in now Amy sleeps for 12 to 13 hours at night. Loving this!!!! She is a bit of a difficult sleeper in the day. But i can handle that.

Can you post a photo of your little one? Would love to see her

@Michelle, can you believe that my my baby girl was also born a week earlier, she was born on the 28th. It was an ermegency ceaser. I really hope your baby gets well with her reflux.

My little princess is trying to sit by herself now, she sleeps very well at night. She is just such an angel.

Morning ladies my bby boy is 4 months 2 weeks and 5 days,i haven't had much problems with his formula he is on Nan,lately he has develop rush,i guess it because of the sun but do u guys know anything i could use on him for the rush before i take him to the Dr?

Oh ladies, hope u also are enjoying ur babies laughter my boy can now laugh,it was a smile before now it an actual Laughter and yoh i enjoy it.
