Juno, Leandi has 3 tt cups (active sporty) and i bought her the straw cup (also tt) but she doesnt like it as you need to really put some effort in? Not like a normal straw, which she drinks out with ease.



Dont think i have tonsillitis, coz i dont have any tonsils
Throat still sore today, even worse than yesterday, and i have lost my voice, which doesnt help.

Zodwa, i know the feeling of sleeplessness. Leandi has woken up for the last 2 nights at about 1 o'clock, and then only goes back to sleep about 4!! Its really exhausting, specially coz im sick and i feel like sh!t (to put it mildly). Bought her some homeopathic stuff that apparently will help with sleeplessness, going to try it tonight and this weekend as i really dont want her to make a habbit of waking.

Hey ladies been super tired all day, will prob go to sleep right after I post this
Ruru is busy with the teeth (does it ever stop!!!!) So he didnt eat all day yest, resulting in him waking up at 3am crying from hunger. We didnt sleep bcos of it & he went back to bed at 6:30am. woke up at 8, the had bfast at his normal time of 8:30
I didnt get any sleep so Im exhausted.
Dsnt help that I worked out at 7am right after he slept. Im under so much stress right now that I get insomnia & stiff neck & shoulders, to the point where I cant move my head so exercise is the only way to go, it makes a huge diff in relieving the tension. So super duper tired!!

I feel u Juno on the social life thing. I feel bad coz he's always alone at hime & when I was home he had my 2yr old niece to play with & he was inlove with her & at the in-laws he had kids to play with also.
He really enjoyed himself & my niece taught him a few words which he still speaks even now so I see the benefit. Soon as we back home Im getting him into a play school/creche. Will figure it out once when I get there

Charlotte Im crossing fingers for u bout the job, really hope u get it. Not having tantrums yet but my niece always pretended to cry to get her way so he picked that up from her & still does it. Even though I know he's not crying, its still annoying.

He loves shoes!! If he sees them he'll cry for me to put them on him. Thats the only thing he ever brings to me!!!
He's new fav thing to do is kiss mommy!!! Its almost like he can sense Im not ok & he tries to cheer me up. Its too sweet, makes me fall inlove with him all over again.
Well he does bite my lips a lot too though.....
Oh & he loves to blow bubbles on my tummy, like he'll literally pull my top up, play with my stretch marks(Im sure he knows he put them there), then blow bubbles.

If I dnt give him the bottle during the day he dsnt really mind. I dnt even put milk in it. Just his cup is leaking right now so I give him the bottle. He trying to drink from a normal cup. He seems to think that whatever is in the cup is nicer than whatever is in the bottle/sippy cup
He does use the bottle as a dummy though so he sleeps with it & thank God we've never had any ear infections.

Charlotte it's been a while. I know Media24 very well. Would you joining a specific department or a specific magazine? I bought my tt straw cup for under R70. I think they all most probably be around that.

Re the creche story of course not - input is always welcome. It's a difficult one. Some say that the ideal age is from 2 because this is the age that they actually become more aware of others and don't just regard/treat them as objects, are more aware of the concept of sharing etc. etc. If I had known what I do now though I definitely would have started him at 18 months for 2/3 times per week as I believe he needs that interaction with other kids. I feel so sorry for him at the mo and try and get him out as much as possible to play with other kids but it's difficult..

Liam is fascinated with the concept of wearing shoes - not sure whether this is a good or bad thing! He actually lifts his feet one at a time for me to put them on!

Juanita hopefully it is as you say with Leandi. Sounds more like tonsillitis - your throat? I always dread an episode because of how sore my throat gets.

I also wanted to ask what kind of tt cup Leandi uses? Like at the mo Liam uses their straw cup.

Juanita ek wil nie jou bubble bars nie, maar die tydperk wat hulle siek is en die rash het is nie die ergste nie. Lorelai en ek het die verlede jaar gehaat en dit was aaklig. ek kon nie verstaan dat almal so aangaan oor hoe erg dit is terwyl ek die simtone gehaat het nie. na die tyd is die ergste vir omtrend 5 dae was al my joints so ser ek kon nie loop nie, my self ophelp nie. kindes optel. hou haar maar op pyn meds vir min 3 dae na rash weg is.

so i am sick, not so much feeling bad, but my throat is killing me. And Leandi has a mild case of german measels, but she is fine. if it wasnt for the rash we probably wouldve just passed it as a cold. Spots should be dissapearing by tomorrow *holding thumbs* and holding thumbs that it takes all of the symptoms with!!!

Oh and sorry about the essay.

hallo girls. I'm back and you have all been missed. I finally made a desision that I miss publishing way tooooooo much and I have started to look for another job again. there are currently 2 positions open at media 24 and i have always wanted to work for them, application closed yesterday so im now just waiting.

Juno - such a nice pic of Liam. According to my pead if you have pets/child goes to school/spends alot of time outside you have to start deworming t 1. but it is such a confusing thing because there are like 10 different ways to do it.

Juanita what did you pay for it and where can i get 1?

I think we might all have the same issue with socks and shoes, Lorelai has never really wore shoes or socks since she started walking, but now that it is getting cold she has to wear it, with her chest being bad and all. but they dont stay one. Dont even get me started on clips in her hair and so on.

Lorelai also has all 4 her molars now and to be honest i dont even know what other teeth as she has a permanent chest problem so I dont even know if she is cutting teeth.

Leandi she is very cleaver - lorelai will jump up and down and scream for no reason and finally after asking her 10 milion question and then saying kos she will run the the kitchen and go sit on the floor. lol

Who has really really bad problems with tantrums? I cannot handle it anymore it makes me go insane!!!! She has a tantrum over anythig and everything. She is also abusing her sister who is turning 5 in a month. I can smack her hand, give her a hiding, time out she will then go and say sorry (kiss and hug and she says "am susa") then when she is done she will b**ch slap her and walk away. then punishment starts all over again. What to do!!!!

Leandi - Any new spots? or was it just a one time thing? I voted for Jimina's little bunnies. Still have to go look at the pic lol

Juno - Liam will walk when he is ready, yes I know you tired of hearing it but one morning you will open your eyes and he will be walking. The schools on the other hand - hear is what I believe (please dont feel like I am telling you what to do) From a year a child need to be around other children even if it is just half day but they need to be in a small enviroment as they are still baby and need alot of attention. From 2 up they can go to a chreche full day with lots of kids. but that is just me.
