Jan & Feb 2010 Mommies

Hi ladies, Im back!!!!!!!!
Been so hectic!!! We are literaaly only getting settled now, like now its over, everything is in place, finally, settled.
We live in Parklands, renting, as we waiting for the sale of our Pretoria house

Ruru started day care last month, he only attended for 7 days & was sick the rest of the month, flu, bronchitis, middle ear infection, vomit with blood in it, drastic weight loss, it was hectic!!
Our furniture only arrived 2 weeks ago, Ruru only moved to his room yesterday. He's been sleeping in our bed for the last 3 months & I thought it would b difficult to sleep in his cot but he was just fine. He just wanted me to cuddle him in the beginning.
He's always been in our room but in his cot, but last night went well, hope it continues for the rest of the week.
Took the side rails off his cot so now its a bed.

Havnt started potty training yet, will prob start seriously next month, just want him to get used to being in his room. When I put him on the toilet though he pushes and grunts till something comes out so he understands the basic concept. I got those toilet seats for potty training as @ the creche they dnt have potty's, they have kiddies toilets.

Am toying with the idea of taking him for swim lessons as I saw it being advertised at his school...... Just need to find time for it.

Took him for a hair cut last week, for the 1st time he didnt cry, big boy!!!!

Okay so I have been missing for a while and I'm sorry. Things on my side of the block has been hectic. Nothing major happened but the day to day things just get to much.

Kids are doing great. Lorelai is getting big so fast and I can hardly keep track of everything she does. She now speak full Afrikaans sentences and just to add in cuteness she says be good and awesome.

We are now fully potty training over weekends because her behind looks like a complete war zone.

She left a present in the bath on Sunday night for her sister. Lorelai jumped out and cried: "Gogga gaan my byt"




If you cant guess? Its poo!

She does not say bollie she says Kak. So my moms fault.

It really is true what they say, childrens gives you porrage brain, hehe. I forget a lot of things and if I do remember I get busy with something else & forget again!.

I'm hope there is other mommies that also have this problem?

Franco is the most adoring & pretty little boy (I know every mommy says it about het little one) I just can't believe they get big so fast! I do enjoy every moment, especially that they begin with all the words, so cute.

I'm getting married! On the 26th of November, can't wait! Just a lot of planning to be doen etc, etc.
