Jan & Feb 2010 Mommies

Daisy - I had her ears pierced at 6 months, claire's in canalwalk did it and Amandalynn's was pierced at 4 months. They re scared that because the ears are so small that they might make the hole to low and it might tear out. never had such problems. Congrats on baby walking...

Shame just read that one of the April/May 2011 mommies lost her baby angel at 32 weeks! BREAKS MY HEART!!!

Congrats on the first steps Abi!!!! Daisymom, you will see, 2 weeks from now, she'll be walking all over the show.
Leandi is getting so confident with the whole walking thing now. She walks from the one piece of furniture to the other, and sometimes she doesnt even know where shes going, just ups and walks. and even turns half way. sorry, but its sooo cute! my baby girl is getting big now.

This morning was the first morning that i could just drop her off and go without a tear. usually i have to stay for coffee till she is playing with her maaitjies and has settled a little before i can sneak away. just as she got used to daymother something would come up and then shed be away for a couple of days again.

also, she has a nasty cold! My poor baba. doing the whole Sterimar and cold syrups. En ek salf haar elke aand, en bid dat die Liewe Here haar lyfie gesond maak. Kan nie nou weer op antibiotika gaan nie. was op dit vir gastro toe sy in die hospitaal was, en toe sy waterpokkies gekry het en mangelontsteking so 2 weke terug. so haar gestelletjie is maar bietjie af

Well, it seems like things are getting better slowly.

All of South African schools are writng some sort of goverment exams in Afr, Eng and Maths.

Connor has gotten his Math results and he scored 100%!!!!!!!!!!! He was so proud and dh and me were SO proud

Today, my parents would have celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary... I so wish they were still here

No other news here, Jaqi is still a happy little girl, two teeth and all Not walking by herself yet, but standing up on her own. My other kids were late walkers, so I don't expect Jaqi to walk soon. Micayla walked at 14 months, Xadriaan walked at 17 months just when I started to worry... So I think Jaqi will start to walk anywhere in between.

Glad to hear that everyone is doing ok.

Abi took about 5 steps tonight, and walked half way across the lounge!!!! It was so cute - and you could just see on her little fave how proud she was of herself! Melts my heart!

Char: Lori is gorgeous!! She has the most beautful blue eyes! I see her ears are pierced.... can I ask when & where you got it done? When I got Emily's ears peirced she was 1½ and I had to beg them at American swiss to do it... they are only allowed to do it when they are 2 apparently??
Would just like to know for interest sake...... who knows

Anyhoo - enjoy your Thursday everyone.. almost weekend. Its our 6th wedding anni on Saturday so DH and I will go out for supper to celebrate, can't even remember when last we have done that!
