LOL @ groen mamba.....and clearly its working for her...dont forget to give her some groen mamba tonight hey!

Cinds, its a concoction the pharmacy makes. They call it "die tande kry en slaap mengsel". We just call it groen mamba (easier to say! and because it kicks her out like a alcoholic drink would). I think they mix 3 different things together, one of which is panado.

Claire the teething sucks hey, i think you should try the dynexan it really does work, i need to get a tube again, but just remember you can only use it 3 times a day and i only used it at night and during the day vidol or ashton and parsons.....just put a little bit of that dynexan on your gum or lip and then its numb so it really gives them some relief....

Claire have you tried the dynexan cinds suggested. I bought it right after she told us about it the first time and it works a charm. Right before bed time together with the 'tande kry en slaap mengsel' you get from the pharmacy. Makes bedtimes a lot easier. Its really as if the teeth bother them more late afternoon and at night.

Adele, die ding met my pa is beter maar ons kyk nogsteeds gereeld oor ons skouer. Die man het bedank maar dink nogsteeds die wereld skuld hom vir al sy moeite.

So last night I decided to send B to bed without her usual 'groen mamba' teething syrup. BIG MISTAKE. She woke up two hours later screaming. Took us 30min just to calm her. Then she slept till 5:30, had half a bottle and slept until 7. When she sees you putting teething gel on your finger she opens her mouth and after spreading it on her gums she sucks the rest off my finger. Poor child.

Her new thing is: She takes the walking ring to a kitchen drawer, lays back when its open and bites on the handle!

Had coffee with my sister this morning. Her 3 year old has a fever and the doctor doesn't really know whats going on because its not his ears or anything visible, only a little protein in his wee but not enough to cause the high temp. But struggling with that and her little one also teething, shame, wish I could help.

I am not enjoying this whole teething thing. Colby has been up so much and then he screams! At least he's not having any other side effects though.
