Elrike, dis stunning! Hoop jy vind iemand wat vir jou iets soortgelyks kan maak.

I said to the husband last night we are never going to get that room done. He says, it has to be finished by the end of the month. I just laughed and laughed. They are so busy at work, have a quote job of 700k and that's just one of the possibly 10 big jobs they have to finish before dec holidays, not to mention the small jobs and daily crap. He gets home, plays with B, helps with the bedtime routine then passes out in front of the tv. No one's home during the day so getting someone in to finish is also not going to work.

B's doing great, want to share a joke but so embarrassing, sorry for TMI. Yesterday, at some point I couldn't contain myself and farted, B was like "Wat maak so?!" hubby, very happy that for once it wasn't him said "Mamma het gepoep" and started laughing which set off a chain reaction of laughs. Anyway, last night B was in bed, quiet for the longest time, suddenly the monitor goes on and she goes "mamma het gepoep" and starts laughing hysterically.

Granted I was less than impressed but hubby was out of breath from laughing!

Hi girls

Just a quick hello. I am at home but doing assignments. HAVE to finish a few before I go to Cape Town next week. Am off today and tomorrow.

We are well. I actually went to gym this morning. Was so nice to do some exercise again. Want to continue. Everyone comments on the size of my stomach. And I'm like, yeah, I know, it huge, ok!?

Lizel, Nienke klou aan my soos 'n neet. Nogal erg. So hartseer van jou vriendin!

Marilu, hoe gaan dit met Migs?

Paula, love die pics! Jou maag is laag, ne? Mens kan duidelik sien dis 'n seuntjie. :-)

Pat, I have no idea why, but your posts keep cutting off.
I also want to order stuff from Dominiques. I want to order those things you put on a bookcase.

Elrike, it would have infuriated me if kids came and played with our stuff without asking.

Nadia, I love the party packs! You did a lot of trouble. Don't worry about it, a lot of worse stuff was said on Monday. (What's wrong with my english today!!!)

Sumayad, glad Zia's stopping to suck his thumb, Nienke is nowhere near stopping sucking her dummy.

Justine, I am so glad you are enjoying your work! It sounds lovely.

Elrike, try Vix?

Marijke, good luck with the "needlework". I won't be able to do it! I am useless. I also like natural colours.

Nienke's room is going to be baby's and her room. It's silver and white, so not really confined to a colour. baby will sleep in our room for a while as well and then they'll share. Hopefully we can move in a few years time to a bigger house.

I just had a guy here to come give a quote for a desk. I want a roll top desk. Now waiting to hear from him. Don't know if I'll be able to afford it!

My hubby got a bike and it's also in for repairs. I am getting the bakkie. He is off course in 7th heaven.

I love the new smileys! :mooning:  :swear: :tmi:

Sumaya, tears from you or from him? ;) Shame, hope he forgets about his thumb soon.

Justine, great to hear that things are going well with your new job! Have been thinking about you a lot wondering how the new job's going. It must be so much easier being only a couple of minutes from home.

Elrike, wys vir ons die prentjie wat jy het!

When we built this house about 5 years ago we were just going to do the shell (walls, outside doors, windows, a toilet and shower/bath) and finish the rest as we had money. Well we ended up doing most of it, all the bathrooms, tiles, carpets etc. We got cupboards in our room about a year later and a little later cupboards in the spare room, the 'baby room' and fitted the kitchen. So we never finished the 4th bedroom and it became a dumping ground because of the lack of cupboard space.

So now we are finally doing it up as B's 'forever room' the room she's in now will stay the 'baby room' (will become the dump until such time as another baby makes his/her appearance - which I will tell you about some other time) I can't for the life of me find a duvet that doesn't have characters on them. So we went to a fabric mega store yesterday. Got some nice fabric to make a blanket/throw for her bed. Got mint green material and a sheer fabric and they are making us some curtains for her room. Now I'm going to look for a decent, soft pink with the mint green and make a duvet.

*Please now note that I don't know my back from my front on a sewing machine! Wish me luck, I'm going to need it*
