My beautiful daugter born on the 23rd of February 2007 @ 40 weeks, induction, natural delivery with epidural. Weighed 3,25kg at birth.

My gorgeous son born on the 23rd of June 2009 @ 40 weeks, induction, natural delivery. Weighed 3,28kg at birth.

Glad all is well Bahia...

I'm not on anything, never have been but i think i need to coz right now is not the right time to fall pregnant.
We just decided to move AWAY from the inlaws and Q will start creche earlier and i will go back to work. So i have LOTS to do this next few months...AND we having a big 2nd bday party for Qadeer. Sailors and Pirates...and Damsels in Distress.

I'm buying striped fabric and red fabric and having t-shirts made for the kids that they will have to wear on the day...and the girls well they will need to find their own costumes. We gonna try and get a fake make-sift wrecked ship (ask a school or hire one) and have all these sailor-ish foods and snacks...and the party pack will be a fish net filled with 'treasure'

Deja! Clever thinking! ;) Ons het ook ons kinders so beplan dat hulle vroegerig in die jaar verjaar juis agv daai rede! (Feb & Jun) Voor jy jou oë uitvee is dit sulke tyd! Ek waarsku jou net, jy gaan warm kry as jy in Desember/Januarie/Februarie hoog swanger is!!! :)

Nadia - my mother was also a single mother and my father is nothing to be proud of, so I'd rather not have my girl be disappointed by her real father so he can have his live, I have a wonderful one without him!

BabyJap, Nienke loved it at the playschool but I did not.
Seems like you enjoy being home SO MUCH. Jealous. Urgh, I hate it when people interferes. So glad we live so far, actually.

Nadia, I don't think so. It was def. something to do with the fact that the child was a baby. It only happened with that baby. We visit friends of hers all the time and she NEVER tries to bite them.

Vision, I would love to spend my days just writing and getting paid for it.
I have an unfinished manuscript and am thinking of leaving it for my M in five years time. Also busy with compiling a poetry manuscript and will take a chance and send to a few publishers, although I know it's VERY difficult to get poetry published.
I studied PR, as well as did a diploma in Journalism and Newswriting through London School of Journalism, but I really want a proper degree, honnors and masters.

Cinds, glad you are doing well. Seems like you breezed through it!

Babyjap, I see your son is going to be potty training himself soon. I love it when Nienke says "poeffff", she says it so cute.

Binks, I know how you feel. Also lost a post last night.
Amazing that Arwen enjoys her new room so much!

Monique, ek aim vir 'n 2 jaar, 8 maande age gap. Kan nie nou swanger raak nie, want dan kom baby in Desember en dis nogal sleg. Dan is baba laaste van almal en raak eers einde sub. A 7.

Babyjap...meet...anytime.. Urgh at your MIL...they can be so difficult! shame hope Q doesnt have a bug..as for telling, L also says when he has a number 2 but he generally says afterwards so need to train him to say it before LOL

Lonie...glad to hear A is sleeping better..when do you guys move into your new house... I have moved L to his own mattress...but it is still in our room next to our bed...but hey at least it is a step up from being in the middle of our bed ;)

Natashja..well done on the single parenting...my mom wasa single parent and she was brilliant...i never felt like i missed anything

Elrike..sorry about AF hun...hope u feel better soon
