good thanks - I'm always reading, even if its only for the first time at night but always thinking of the sickies and the mommies.

its difficult to be online, if b is awake she's fine with me browsing but as soon as she hears the clicking of the keys she wants to participate and also being online is usually a trade-off - go online or wash the dishes, go online or play on the floor - that type of thing then when she goes down for a nap it's a mad dash to get everything done.

the general stuff that I've seen you all chat about recently, I think B is about 78cm, 11kg and wears a size 4 but I bought her first 5 a week or two back. She still has 3 bottles (175ml) she naps from 10 - 11 and again 2 - 4 (or 10 - 12 and 3 - 5 depending on her mood!) Still wakes up once a night between 11 and 1, has about 30 - 40 words that she can say the newest of which is tande (teeth) which started today. Can throw a nice little tantrum especially when she's trying to eat the dog food, still shy as hell but will scream at someone in the store if they don't notice her and that's about it. Oh yes and will possibly think about moving her to a bed at 2.5 years or so when she moves into her new room with the bunkbeds.

Lagarbah J had Hep A & MMR but not chickenpox cause there is a shortage......so i'm waiting till they get, i keep on phoning but no luck, dischem is only getting in Jan 2011

Thanks Marilu, it actually makes sense cause his nose has been blocked the last couple of days. Well they are at the DR now so will know soon what it is. Im thinking he might still have had an ear infection from when he was tonsilitus 2 weeks ago.

Lagarbah, the last one Kyle got was measles at 9 months. He didnt get the chicken pox one at 12 months due to the shortage. He has to go for the 15 month MMR now.

OMW, I didnt even pick it up. Kyle is 15 months old today

Nadia, If Kyle sleeps at 16:00, we struggle to get him to sleep at night. Just goes to show how they all differ

L goes to sleep anytime between 19h30 and 20h00 (but the last day or 2 he has been sleeping earlier) and then he gets up anytime from 05h30/06h00... he has 2 naps one morning and then in the afternoon at about 16h00

Bahia...L also got his last vacs at 9 months. He was supposed to get chickenpox and hep a vaccine at 12 months but apparenty there is a nationwide shortage? I have to take him for mmr soon

Justine, a burst eardrum usually happens when there's a bad ear infection (goes hand in hand with a cold/blocked nose). Then there's a build-up of fluid behind the eardrum which is really painful, then the eardrum burst because of the pressure and all the fluid leaks out. It's important that eardrops be given to kill all the germs in the ear. The ENT told me as soon as the eardrum bursts, it brings instant relief because then there isn't anymore pressure so no more pain. That's why he was complaining of earpain on Wednesday night but not this morning. The eardrum repairs itself within a few days. That's why babies gets grommets when they have recurrent ear infections - so that the pressure don't build up and that the fluid can leak out.
