Marilu you are the one paying for them to look after your child - in other words you are paying this teachers salary so why cant she just pick up M and rock her for 2 minutes it wont kill her.

I dont know the whole story so maybe I am wrong in saying that they dont seem to care about your or M's feeling regarding how to look after her. Each baby is different. some can fall asleep on their own and some cant. She is STILL A BABY. She is not a toddler that you can train. And anyway you are trying to sleep train her in your own way and slowly but she is sick from their creche. They are defeating what you are doing by refusing to put her to sleep so then she is miserable.

If they will not listen to reason as hard as it is I would look into other creches. When you took her to this one they told you they would rock her to sleep if that is what she needed. They didnt say that she would be moved to a MEAN class.

And those other little babies must just toughen up

Vision, I also don't understand why they had to move her. She LOVED the other class. The reason they gave me why they moved her, is because she's 'too busy' for the smaller babies. Apparently she crawls over the other smaller babies that's lying there. Do you think I should move her to a different creche? The teacher told me this morning how M fights the sleep, but the teacher doesn't want to just pick her up and sway her for 2minutes (that's ALL it takes to get M to sleep when she's tired) because 'she's in the bigger class now and have to learn to fall asleep on her own'. I don't know WHAT to do. All I know is that Mignione is totally miserable there, she doesn't sleep there, and in the evenings I sit with a baby that's way overtired and so unhappy that she only wants to be picked up and held!

I agree on the business now that they can move Deja!!!
I am exhausted at the end of the day and Bekah has to be entertained she doesnt like it if I leave her to make a cup of tea and all she wants is me suddenly!

Marilu why did they have to move her out of her old class where she was VERY VERY happy!!! I dont understand? At the creche Bekah goes to the babies stay with their teacher for the year and then move on. It is terrible that just suddenly she has to move to the bigger class because she can crawl!!!

Just because she can crawl does not mean she is a big baby now!!! Sorry but it upsets me that they cant see how unhappy she is SINCE they moved her!
Poor little M she is going thru teething and sore ears and a big move to a different class and a teacher who has a totally different teaching style!

Adele hi! Where did you get tyrens gym from?my nephew has 1 and he uses it soo much that my bro wants to get A 1 also but we cant find it anywhere. They only have floor stock and thats ugly.

Morning everyone!

Geez, don't know how you stay at home moms cope..I had a weekend alone with Mignione (YES..manlief is STILL in Pretoria) and I'm dead this morning. Have to admit, if M could just SLEEP at night I will feel loads better! Saturday night was a nightmare and that even though she slept so well during the day! Last night was a bit better, only had to get up 4times. Her ears are giving trouble again After her last nap yesterday (she took FOUR naps can you believe it!) she was moaning the whole time, so after teething powder and ear drops she fell asleep again. She's pulling at her ear the whole time and her cheek is red on that side, so it's got to be teeth and ears that are bothering her. I'm DEAD on my feet, told manlief he'll be working pajama drill this whole week..he owes me bigtime!

I cried my heart out this morning on my way to work..when I dropped M off at the creche she starting crying hysterically with tears everywhere, she didn't want to take her dummy nothing, cried even harder when the teacher picked her up. SO eventually I just gave her a kiss and left, it's BREAKING MY HEART!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know what to do! How long does it take for babies to adjust to something new?? Cause I don't know how long I can watch her cry like that every morning. The teacher told me this morning that M is very unhappy there. She doesn't sleep more than 15minutes when it's naptime and she cries alot during the day. GREAT, so what am I supposed to do? Do I look for a new creche or what? Can't everything just WORK OUT for a change??? All I'm asking is ONE month of M being healthy and happy in creche!!!!!!!!!!

OK, enough moaning..today is monday and I have loads of work to do so time will fly
