Claire I dont let Rebekah cry. If she moans then I leave her but if she cries I go in and soothe her and love her and then go out again. I had to do it 5 times last night but eventually she fell asleep.
Let me tell you it is a pleasure having a baby who you can put into her cot when it is nap time and she falls asleep on her own unless she is sick or something is wrong.
Like you said you and DH have to do what is right for you and what you feel comfortable with. There are pros and cons to everyway.
