There is a difference between multifollicular ovaries and pcos.

Sometime polycysitc ovaries are not as a result of the disease caused by actual pcos. Odd I know.

Just for those of you who have endo. Please note that a hysterectomy will not prevent endometriosis. As long as you have your ovaries wWhich almost no gynae will remove unless you have risk for cancer or other extreme reasons) the endo will contine.

Trust me, I had to have a hysterectomy after my son's birth and I still have endo.

Hi girls - I have a question which I hope you would know more about than I do. I've been diagnosed with multifollicular ovaries. Is this the same as pcos? There is not alot of information on the internet and I have some questions I forgot to ask my doctor when I saw her, never the less Im going to see a specialist next month but I wanted to know a bit more before then. Also we are not really trying to fall pregnant at the moment so would putting me on any medication be a waste then? What is the specialist most likely to put me on?

I have PCOS and my LG is turning 1 on saturday.

I have PCOS and endometrimosis too.
I conceived my first after doing an egg donation so was on fertility drugs which helped.
I am preggies now with no.2 which took about 18 months and ended with having an op to clean the endo and ovarian drilling to help me ovulate. I got preggies right after the op!
I had one MC in between the 2 pregnancies, so I am very paranoid with this pregnancy, but now just past the 1st trimester and still going strong. i just look forward to scans so make sure all is still ok with my little bean.
This is our last one as the endo is very bad and I may be needing the baby factory removed after/with the birth of this one. But that's ok, I will have 2 miracle children and that is more than some can boast so I am happy

I also have PCOS. Conceived my son on clomid and he's now 13.5 months
