Hi everyone!
I was diagnosed with stage I endo in Oct 2010 when I had my first LAP...and then with stage II during Jan this year during my 2nd LAP. I had some on my ovaries ..and a big "band" of endo at the back of my uterus attaching to my colon. Lucikly all have been removed. I had both my ops with a FS and would never consider a gynie for ENDO at all. (I've heard horrific stories!).

Go and have a look at: www.endpain.co.za They just recently started...and I'm planning to support them.

Also diet for ENDO at: www.endo-resolved.com/diet.html

I've made use of most of the suggestions and it has really proven a lot of relieve. I also started using Enzovor (tara.org.za/online/node/22) and since my last lap in January this year...have not used more than 3 Panado's in total during AF visits. In the past I needed several brufens and hot water bottles and I literally needed to sleep off the first day's pain. I also use to suffer from diarree during the first couple of day's of AF visits. Now it is gone. I know that it will come back....but I trust that I will fall pg this month and that help endo from not growing.

hi

There are certain food to avoid if you have Endo. I have to loose at least 10kg's. I lost 5 before my wedding in Nov and managed to pick it up again! :tmi:

Bea, let me know if AF is better this month. Mine should start over the wknd and I am so scared becos last month was terrible! The pain and bleeding kept me in bed and off sick from work

My thyroid tests was all good. No problem

Hi Giggles

My FS didn't advise any specific diet for endo. I'm not that clued up, but usually special diets are more for PCOS than endo?

Although he did say it's a good idea to eat and live healthy when you want to conceive off course. Only thing that stuck in my mind was no more than 3 cups of coffee a day (no decaf, too much preservatives) and hardly any alcohol.

I would love to loose 6kgs more - already lost 6kg. But I find it almost impossible - been stuck for more than 3 weeks now. Maybe in winter it is more of an achievement to maintain your current weight than loosing weight - LOL!

Good luck ladies! I've started AF yesterday - first one after surgery - so very excited to start Clomid on Sunday and then take it from there :-D

Zarah,

I did come across a diet online for endo, but I cannot follow a diet, I'm too lazy and disciplined enough.

How much of weight for you have to loose?

On top of my endo problem I have a thyroid problem. Have you tested your thyroid?

Hi Giggles

I am not following a diet but my plan is to visit Exclusive Books and find a diet. I am desperate to have a baby and need to loose weight as well.
I am going to give it a go after my LAP.

Hi Ladies,

I have stage 4 endo. I have a 2 year old girl. Need to go for another lapscope soon because the pain is becoming unbearable and we are also trying for number 2.

Do you ladies stay away from any specific foods?
Do your'l follow a specific diet?
